Hiran Minar

An early 17th-century Mughal-era complex located in the town of Sheikhupura. The Minar was built by Jehangir before he became emperor, to commemorate the death of his pet deer. The tank and the central pavilion were constructed later by Shah Jehan. The pavilion is two storey octagonal structure with a central ‘chatri’.

This image was taken with a Fuji XT1 and the Fuji 18-135 lens. I don’t own the Fuji gear anymore since I couldn’t justify investing further into the various camera systems that I had. However, while I am happy with the move to full frame Sony, I do at times miss the feel of the fuji cameras.
